Father-Daughter Reverse Mortgage Team Brings A Unique Approach To The Industry
When it comes to the reverse mortgage industry, innovation comes in many forms. However, one of the more unique ways comes in the form of a father-daughter team who are the national manager and assistant national manager for the C2 Reverse Division at C2 Financial Corp.
Scott and Christina Harmes have a combined 45 years experience in the origination business and are driven by the experiences that they have both had in the industry.
As a team, the two have achieved the Certified Reverse Mortgage Professional designation and created C2's Reverse Training, Certification and Origination Program, according to a recent interview with Reverse Mortgage Daily.
In the interview, the team also gave their take on what they believe potential borrowers need to become fully education on reverse mortgages.
"A better educated media/press and better trained financial professionals that are trusted advisers for senior homeowners," said the team, according to the report.
"There is a legacy of misinformation that is the greatest obstacle to more senior homeowners appreciating and acting on this flexible financial tool for improving cash flow and financial security."
