Open Mortgage Hires 50 From Former Live Well Team Including Core Executives
Open Mortgage has taken on 50 former mortgage lending executives from Live Well Financial, which recently closed. The new set of hires include former EVP Bruce Barnes, SVP of ops, Jim Cory and SVP of wholesale and correspondent lending Joshua Moran, according to a Reverse Mortgage Daily report.
"As a top reverse mortgage lender, Live Well Financial’s team has unparalleled industry expertise in all phases of reverse mortgages and a love of technology, just like us," said Scott Gordon, founder and CEO of Open Mortgage in a press release announcing the hirings, according to RMD.
"We are expanding the Open Mortgage family and gaining some of the brightest folks in our industry."
With the move, Open Mortgage is also expecting to expand its retail, wholesale, principal agent and reverse mortgage sectors.
"This latest move by Open Mortgage also follows on other recent expansion activity, including its recent acquisition of Premier Home Mortgage, which Scott Gordon told RMD would also serve to further expand its operations in the reverse mortgage space," according to the report.
