Zillow Responds To Technical Error Questioning LOs' Employment Status
Zillow issued a response to HousingWire, regarding an email that was sent to loan officers, suggesting a sponsorship change has altered LOs' status with the company.
Users then took to social media to see if any of their peers had received the email which stated that "your NMLS sponsorship was cancelled" and also stated that you would no longer be a part of the company's lender database.
"Thursday morning, lenders who advertise with Zillow Group or use the Zillow Group platform may have received an erroneous email about their sponsorship changing caused by a technical issue," according to the response from Zillow.
"Zillow Group is actively investigating the issue and working to get it resolved quickly. We notified those lenders who may have been impacted of the issue via email and will continue to provide updates as we know more."
The company has already reached out to some of those who received the email and assured them that they are "diligently working to resolve the issue."
