Brief Recap: Carolinas Connect Mortgage Expo 2019
The inaugural Carolinas Connect Mortgage Expo kicked off on Thursday, January 24 at the Crowne Plaza in Charlotte, North Carolina. The event featured a number of notable speakers as well as an exhibit hall featuring some of the leading companies in the mortgage industry.
Sessions included RCN Capital's Stephen Ballard, Allen Beydoun, EVP of United Wholesale Mortgage; Allen Middleman, SVP of wholesale at Freedom Mortgage and more.
Exhibitors were able to enjoy refreshments as they entered the exhibit hall between sessions. The Carolinas Connect Mortgage Expo provided an opportunity to connect, as the name would suggest, however, attendees were able to gain more than a connection at the show.
Don Mann, a former member of SEAL Team Six was one of the featured speakers who had an extremely motivational message for those in attendance. Throughout his presentation, Mann stressed the importance of setting micro and macro goals for yourself, striving to reach these goals and going beyond them once you've conquered them.
For mortgage professionals, there is no limit to what you can achieve and Mann wanted to get that message across to the packed room filled with attendees.
