Best Home Buying Days Of The Year Revealed
A new report from National Mortgage News highlights the 10 best days of the year for home buying. It's a perfect look at some days to mark on your calendar as a mortgage professional.
"Consumers can save an average of upwards to 1.3% or $2,500 off the sales price by striking at the right time," according to NMN.
"With affordability still an issue, savvy homebuyers will find and use whatever advantages they can. However, as the inventory finally shows signs of life for the first time in a decade, the coming months could have an unseasonable bump in home buying."
So, after compiling data from 2013-2017 the report revealed that the 10 best days for home buying are as follows: December 8, February 9, November 9, October 12, December 1, December 21, December 29, December 4, December 7 and December 26.
Looking at these dates lean heavily towards a busy December, though, the rewards for working hard in the month could be plenty high.
