Blend And CoreLogic Aim To Streamline Credit Data Checks
Blend and CoreLogic have joined forced to streamline the credit data check process for mortgage lenders in a new partnership. The partnership brings CoreLogic's Instant Merge technology to Blend.
"Instant Merge is CoreLogic’s three-bureau credit report that allows customers to get an accurate and balanced representation of a borrower’s credit history, its website says," according to HousingWire.
Brian Martin, head of business development at Blend believes the new partnership will "remove friction from the lending process."
"This partnership is central to what we’re doing at Blend, connecting components to reduce the time to get an accurate credit decision, and streamlining the lending process for both lenders and consumers," said Martin.
This is yet another step that Blend is taking to make the loan approval process faster, after integrating a "one-tap" mortgage pre-approval back in September.
