Social Media Becomes Key Factor In Online Reverse Mortgage Marketing

Social media has been quite a difficult medium for companies to get on board with. Is it able to provide a proper return and worth the time investing in? Well, in terms of online reverse mortgage marketing, experts say it should be part of every company's wheelhouse.

"But approaching social media as a starting point for lead generation requires a calculated approach, said Jim Berkowitz, a startup growth strategist and the founder of the digital marketing agency LaunchHawk Marketing, during the National Reverse Mortgage Lenders Association annual conference this week," according to Reverse Mortgage Daily.

The social media push is a systematic process that won't necessarily bring every single prospect onboard, though, experts say having the right structure could lead to a funnel effect.

"The 'lead machine' is structured like a funnel, with prospects entering the top through ads, websites, social media pages, and other general points online," according to the report.

"By developing a strategy with a clear budget and target audience, these prospects hopefully continue down to the bottom of the funnel turning into a lead so the sales process can begin."
