Dallas Home Purchase Contracts Skyrocket
Dallas has continued to see much success in home purchase contracts in 2018 and it could hold on for the rest of the year.
"The Dallas area ranked fifth among the major markets with the largest year-over-year gains in home purchase contracts, according to a report by Meyers Research," reports National Mortgage News.
"Through April, Dallas' homebuying contracts were running 8% ahead of where they were in the first five months of 2018, according to the California-based housing analyst."
Meanwhile, Dallas is joined by cities like Denver, San Diego and Phoenix, as they all had extremely high numbers of year-to-date contract numbers.
Home sales as a whole are reportedly up in North Texas through the month of May. In comparison to 2017, it does seem like numbers have slowed a bit for North Texas.
