Home sales in Toledo, Ohio took a small dip with a 2% drop in sales for January 2018. Professionals aren't taking the drop too seriously as they believe it to be a "climate blip," according to a recent report.
"The cold temperatures and the snowy weather really slowed the buyers from hitting the pavement the last month," said Doug Kwiatkowski, of Remax Preferred Associates, according to National Mortgage News.
"When you look at sales over the last 12 months, they're up something like 12% overall, so a 2% drop isn't that bad."
Home sale prices also dipped but at a seemingly larger rate of 21%, when compared to the previous year, according to the report. The area is struggling;ing with inventory which happens to be the case for the majority of the country.
"The inventory situation certainly isn't helping our cause," Kwiatkowski said.
