Fannie Mae to Introduce New Collateral Underwriter with Updated Features
Fannie Mae's recent Selling News release brought more new additions to the wide variety of services they provide. Starting this weekend, the company plans on implementing a new Collateral Underwriter version.
"This weekend, Fannie Mae will implement Collateral Underwriter® (CU™) 4.2, which will add the Advanced Search functionality formerly available only in classic CU to the new layout of the CU web application," according to Fannie Mae.
"The release will also give mortgage insurers (MIs) access to specific appraisals and related information in CU, if the lender provides the MI the Doc File ID. View the Release Notes to learn more."
The company already announced the increase of Loan Limits for 2018 last week and is now continuing to follow up their announcement with more, fresh updates.
